2/15 6:30. EVENT. StorySlam Oakland is hosting their next event about Modern Love. Go and share a story or just listen & laugh. Every story teller wins a free drink just for telling a true personal story on the topic of love, five minutes or less. Luka’s Lounge! StorySlam Oakland is the longest-running true storytelling show in Oakland.
2/20, 3/19, 4/16, 5/21 and 6/18 and every third Thursday for 2020, Oakland Art Library Events. These ultra cool events feature Art Library artists who display their work for you to borrow…or buy! They have adult beverages and more.
2/23 Third Annual Black Joy Parade. As the say: Studies show that Black Joy is proven to raise endorphin levels, aid generational healing, and spread love. Come get your dose on February 23rd!

12/8-3/13. Art Exhibition. GrayLoft Gallery Presents The Art of the African Diaspora opens on Saturday, February 8, 4-6:30. The show will be on view until March 13. Visit their instagram and check out the talented artists who’ll be showing their work.

2/21 – 3/28. ART EXHIBITION. Manna Gallery. Kathryn Arnold will be showing recent works at Manna Gallery with two other artists in “Layers.” It opens February 21 and continues to March 28. Meet Kathryn at her reception First Friday in March from 6-8 pm when she will greet gallery visitors and answer questions about her work. Light refreshments will be served.

TUESDAYS. SALE. Spoiled Boutique. The Queen of Retail, Mika Mccants has regular SALES on Tuesdays. And if you go shopping there, you might start feeling a little royal yourself.
